What is Christian Youth in Action?

Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) is a summer missions program developed and run by Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) staff and volunteers.

Students learn how to effectively share the Gospel message with boys and girls ages 5-12 at the CYIA Training School and teach 5-Day Clubs® in their local areas.

CYIA gives students many opportunities to witness the miracle of children accepting Christ as their Savior when they hear the Good News.

What will you learn?

  • How to lead a child to Christ

  • How to teach a Bible lesson that shares the Gospel and growing in Christ

  • How to teach a memory verse so that children understand and remember it

  • How to lead songs effectively and teach through the lyrics

  • How to excite children for missions by telling a true story about a missionary from history

  • How to keep your class fun and energetic while maintaining classroom discipline
